Fabric hammock

Well, it was hard to find the right category to list this vintage hammock,,but if you are looking for the unusual one of a kind hammock for your home or garden. . here it is !! I purchased this in San Diego from an antique dealer going out of business about 10 years ago, I fell in love with it. . but unfortunately never had the right place to display it. He told me he thought it was from the 30's. It is full sized and made from a woven tapestry fabric. It has an attached pillow that feels like it is filled with horsehair !! The hardware and wooden stretchers are intact and it is beautiful to look at. I feel that age has possibly weakened the fabric so I wouldn't recommend a lot of weight to be put on it. . . . . this is a special piece of romantic history. . . I see it might have been used in a 1930's film !! I have included many photos. . . there are a couple of mended holes. . . but in all it is in amazing shape. . . a truly unusual find.
